Had a super trip to Texas.  Put over 2800 miles on the car and had a great trip..  So much country to see and so many new places.   Weather was great and the roads were clear.  Jan. is a good time to head South for the winter.  Took two and halve days to go down and the same to come home.  Stayed in some good Hotels and the food was super going and coming.   Thanks to Nat and Kilee for the time we spent there with the kids.  

Bountiful  on memorial day  2013 

On Sept 23 Julene went in for surgery on her leg.  The Doctor took her in at 4:00 PM and she was out at 5:00 PM.  Every thing went well. She will take about 3 weeks to get back to normal..  Mom was ready to go back to the Temple on Fri. the 27th. She only had to work for a couple of hours.  Thanks to the family we had meals brought in each night. Each of the kids took a night and had supper for us.  It is great to see each of them and we are so happy with our Children and their spouses....
We have the best Children and grand kids in the world.. Love them all.

My hibiscus flowers are now in bloom this one is about 7 inches in size. They are beautiful. 

Awoke this morning at 6:00 AM Julene and I went for a two and a halve mile walk.  Came home and looked over the face book posts for the day.  Mother then had breakfast ready.  I am now writing a short blog.  Mom is practicing the piano she does this each morning for about 45 min.  It is good to just listen to her play. 
We will be heading to SLC later to spend the day with Janice and Ferrin. Later I will have visit to make with Shane and Mac.
  Last night we went to visit Kyle and Stacie.  It was really to see Leo for his birthday..  Had a great visit with them... When we came home we had forgot to leave a note. found out Jodi and the kids had come by to say hello. Later they came back with Cortney and spent the rest of the evening with us.

Came home from the Temple and found a Reward magnet for Billy the Kid.  Thanks to my great daughter.  It was so much fun to have her with us for 3 weeks.  Hope she has a great time on her new adventure.  We love and miss her already. Jalaire is a super great person and a keeper as a daughter.  Thanks for the time you spent with us.
